ABOUT

My work explores how digital systems, motion, and interaction shape how people move through and experience the built environment—from airports and museums to retail and corporate spaces.

As a director and designer, I guide projects from concept through delivery—shaping strategy, spatial and visitor experience, creative direction, design, motion, and production alongside multidisciplinary teams.

I’ve collaborated with brands including Airbnb, Comcast, Disney, Google, Naughty Dog, PepsiCo, Red Bull, Reuters, Samsung, SK-II, Spotify, Tom Ford, Twitter, and Warner Bros. Discovery, as well as museums, airports, and cultural institutions. My work has been recognized with awards including Red Dot, The One Show, FWA, Webby Awards, Awwwards Site of the Year, and the Adobe Cutting Edge Award.

I grew up in the Netherlands and began my journey as a sponsored gamer, teaching myself Photoshop and HTML/CSS to promote my clan. That curiosity soon expanded into motion and interactive design, experimenting with Flash, After Effects, and Cinema 4D while recreating the cinematic worlds of movie and gaming websites.

This passion led to internships at 247 Media Studios in Germany and Ignition Interactive in Los Angeles. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, Ignition offered me a full-time role, prompting my move to LA where I worked on marketing for films and games.

While I loved working in Hollywood, I became increasingly interested in applying cinematic and interactive techniques to digital systems within physical environments.

I later moved to New York after joining Firstborn, collaborating with global brands and expanding my focus to digital systems and experiences within the built environment. From there I joined Your Majesty, where I continued exploring the intersection of digital systems and physical space.

I later joined Rare Volume, where I now serve as Interactive Creative Director, focusing on digital experiences for the built environment—from wayfinding systems and data visualization to interactive exhibits and large-scale media installations across corporate spaces, retail environments, museums, and cultural institutions.

I’m interested in transforming complex systems into experiences where aesthetics and functionality are inseparable.
