That awkward section

Creating environments, events and digital platforms for brands, agencies and institutions at Rare Volume.

Born in The Netherlands, I’ve worked from Europe to the US. I take pride in fostering digital projects from beginning to end. Leading by design while keeping motion and tech in mind. This cocktail approach has been my focus for the past 15+ years. My inspiration comes from opposing forces and pushing boundaries.

My work and myself got featured in several books, magazines and articles like The FWA, Motionographer, PAGE Magazine, NY Times and Fast.Co. Picked up both the Awwwards and CSS Design Awards ‘Site of the Year’ awards, Adobe Cutting Edge Award and the Red Dot Award, among others. And I’m a judge at the Webby Awards and The FWA.

Working together with clients such as Airbnb, AMC, Disney, DreamWorks Animation, Facebook, Google, HBO, Lenovo, Lionsgate, Naughty Dog, Netflix, PepsiCo, Pixar, Red Bull, Reuters, Samsung, SK-II, Spotify, Tom Ford, Twitter and WarnerMedia.
